We help students discover, access and pursue meaningful pathways into public service.
Founded by alumni who believe public service should once again be one of the highest callings of a free people, the Civics Society rekindles a sense of civic purpose among the nation’s brightest minds. We inform, inspire and equip students to see public service not as a sacrifice but as a vocation worthy of their highest aspirations.
Our mission is to create visible, accessible career pipelines and increase the number of students who take on internships or full‑time positions in public service. We connect students to opportunities, mentors and networks across government, policy, research and the broader public‑service ecosystem.
Regular panels and talks feature current and former public servants, scholars and practitioners who illuminate the practical realities of government work and policy implementation.
We bring students together with alumni and professionals, fostering relationships that lead to mentorship and collaboration.
Workshops and coaching sessions offer concrete guidance—résumé refinement, interview preparation and personal‑statement feedback—to support members’ professional growth.
Our upcoming database will catalog internships, fellowships and entry‑level roles in government, non‑profits and research institutions.
Whether you’re a student getting involved or a professional looking to mentor, joining the Civics Society is simple: sign up to be part of our community and receive updates on opportunities, events and new chapters. Membership is open to anyone who shares our passion for public service.
